Great things happen when we learn from each other. Skillsets get passed, minds are invigorated, ideas blossom. Bside represent a lot of work by a lot of people. Starting out on Maui with a few challenging detours (building windsurfers, molding tables, fiberglassing decks) our boards have been influenced by talented individuals from Hawaii, Florida, The Carolinas and California. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Do we riff on other designs? Hell yea. Do we come up with our own stuff? Definitely. Do we listen to feedback from riders? Always. Do we evolve? Constantly.
